  11. I decided to release the Micro Q QuickEditor although
  12. parts of it are not finished (and possibly never
  13. will be) because of the Micro Q's own bugs and some
  14. of my bugs. So before you write me about how to 
  15. improve this freeware, please keep in mind that 
  16. there is a slim chance that I am going 
  17. to update it anymore.

  19. Nevertheless, more than 97% of the freeware works and
  20. I think it beats straining your back and elbow and pressing buttons.

  22. Features
  23. ========
  24. - Operate in both Omni and Multimode
  25. - 16 buffers for 16 patches in Multimode (not working with drum patch yet)
  26. - Load and updata patch sysex from the Micro Q in real time (see Keys to remember)
  27. - Load and Save patches in sysex files
  28. - Load and Save performance in sysex files 
  29. - All patch parameter on one page (1024*786) and FX editor on another page
  30. - Customizable Init Patch data
  31. - Patchname editing with Category name (won't display on Micro Q, but on Q and
  32.   on Micro Q QuickEditor).
  33. - Autoname when you try to save patch (depending on your current patchname.)
  34. - Edit patches and play them without a MIDI keyboard with programmable velocity
  35. - Sound move function between channels in Multimode (so that you don't have to
  36.   save any patch on the Micro Q for your arrangement if you don't want to).

  41. What to do if Micro Q QuickEditor won't run the first time?

  43. Install Hubi's Device and then reboot. Now everything should work.

  49. You can play the Micro Q with the computer keyboard.

  52. F3,F4 = -/+12 and F7,F8=-/+1)

  54. F11 = Get Single on the current channel from the Micro Q
  55. F10 = Send Single on the current channel to the Micro Q
  56. ctrl+F12 = Send Init (init.syx in the mqq.exe's directory)

  58. You can double click the parameter boxes to change values
  59. in a list box instead of having to drag left and right.

  61. Type in the new Single name and press Enter to change
  62. the Single name on the Micro Q.

  64. If the cursor disappears, press Alt+C to bring it back.

  66. All operations are written on the buffer memory.
  67. To save your Single data on the Micro Q, you need to do it manually.
